Coming soon! User interface improvements

We have been very busy working on an exciting new look for ReportMagic which will give you:
  • Better usability
  • Great cross-platform usage (mobile and desktop)
  • Improved workflow
Currently, you can only see this new approach on the Connections page, as this is an infrequently used screen and we wanted to perfect the design before rolling it out to the rest of the product.  Do take a look by expanding the Admin menu and clicking Connections.  It will look a little like this:


More space to create and edit

With the create/modify dialog box now taking up the majority of the screen, creation and editing is much easier. We don't think anyone will be sad to see the pop-up edit dialog boxes go (with their tiny, tiny fonts).

Easier filtering

Filtering should now be much easier.  Click and start typing in the Filter Connections box. If this doesn't work intuitively, please let us know what you expected and how it can be improved.

Improved sorting

Sorting is now much easier.  Just click the Sort button then click one of the choices that appears underneath.

Apply actions to multiple items

Click the Select button to have blank checkboxes appear next to each item.  You can then select some, all, or none of the items and perform bulk actions such as deletion.  You will be asked to confirm your bulk action before it is performed.

Clearer Paging

Paging is now much simpler, with controls shown clearly at the bottom of the screen.
