ReportMagic 2.24

ReportMagic 2.24 is released as a bug fix and maintenance release with a few small changes.   We continue to progress with a new 3.0 user interface, which offers significant scalability and architecture benefits.

Improvements

  • The [LogicMonitor.SummaryValue:] now supports two new aggregations: MinDateTime and MaxDateTime, which return the Date Time (UTC) of the first instance of the min/max value.
  • Significant improvements have been made to the alert tuning data handling of the [LogicMonitor.Threshold:] macro.  The introduction of a properties parameter allows for any combination of the Comparator, WarningValue, ErrorValue and CriticalValue to be returned at once.  Other rework means that the macro can now report thresholds at the Global, DeviceGroup, DataSource and DataSourceInstance levels in accordance with the precedence assigned within the LogicMonitor portal.
  • [AutoTask.TicketProperty:] macro now supports many more properties, including CreateDate.
  • ReportMagic RmScript Visual Studio Code Extension is available, supporting both dark and light modes.  Just search for "ReportMagic" in the Extensions Marketplace.

Bug Fixes and Other Work

  • Fixes have been made to the clean up of scheduled report output when both the input and output folder locations are the same.  Now, only those folders with a YYYY-MM date in them will be cleaned up.
  • The [File Execute:] macro is more robust in its error detection and handling.
  • Several issues with the loading and display of the feedback pages have been resolved.
  • There have been modifications made to Help examples including the [Dictionary:Keys:], [LogicMonitor.SummaryValue:] and [Jira.LastImage:] macros.
  • Modifications to string handling mean that the [String:] macro now respects the format parameter when it is specified.
