It's here ! ReportMagic 3 has many improvements, the most far-reaching of which are detailed below.
New Features
Single Sign-On (SSO)
- ReportMagic Version 3 uses "Microsoft Sign-In" to authenticate you using your existing company Microsoft account and log you in seamlessly. Please note that we do not support personal Microsoft accounts.
- As always, new users must be authorised by a Admin from your company.
- If your email domain is new to ReportMagic, we will create you a starter account on a “Pro Zero” subscription once you have signed the Terms of Service.
SharePoint integration
You can add a SharePoint connection which then appear as a “mount point” in Files. Template and other input files as well as output can be viewed and edited on your local machine from a OneDrive folder.

New user interface
The new look ReportMagic is consistent and modern, while remaining familiar to existing users. We have developed (and open sourced) a new, powerful user interface library that includes automatic Dark Mode detection.
Improved file system
The new Files area is cleaner and more usable with access to:- A library of templates
- A personal folder, accessible only to its owner and Administrators
- Any SharePoint mount points

Improved progress screen
The new progress screen (in Report Studio and while or after Schedules run), crucial to report authors, contains the following improvements:- More responsive

ReportMagic Version 2 end of life
The Version 2 interface will be retained for a three month period. Please switch to version 3 as soon as possible (https://v3.reportmagic.net) and give us your feedback. If you find any features no longer present in Version 3, it means these features are being retired and you should let us know if this will cause you any inconvenience.
